Wolfenstein 3d Cheats
You will probably need to read both help sources underneath the cheat codes to use these codes.
You need to start the game with a command line:
1. for version 1.0 type: wolf3d -next
1. for version 1.1 type: wolf3d -goobers
2. Once in the game, you need to activate the cheats:
a. for version 1.0 press CTRL + ALT + ENTER
b. for version 1.1 press LSHIFT + ALT + BSPACE
Now you can use these cheat codes:
Tab (key) + G: Gives you god mode.
Tab (key) + I: Add an item.
Tab (key) + H: Hurt yourself.
Tab (key) + N: No clipping mode on/off.
Tab (key) + P: Pause the game.
Tab (key) + Q: Exits the game.
Tab (key) + W: Turbo mode. (I think this makes you go faster)
Tab (key) + X: Adds more stuff.
Tab (key) + E: Finish level.
How can I get the 'wolf3d -goobers' DOS perameter to work?
This is simple, you just have to make a batch file (.bat) displaying the relivent text - wolf3d -goobers or wolf3d -next. Do this by creating a new text document in Notepad, call it cheats.txt. Then type in the correct text and click 'save as'. Then change the file extension from .txt to .bat. This is now a batch file and should work. Double click on the file and it should load your version of Wolfenstein 3d in cheats mode enabling the above cheats to be used. Note: the .bat file needs to be in the same directory as wolf3d.exe.
Wolf 3d: Getting it to work in a win32 mode. How do I do it?
This is simple, you must go to the MS Dos exe file - wolf3d.exe, and right click on it. Then go to MS Dos options/mode. Click on 'run in MS Dos mode'. This will reboot your PC into MS Dos mode so you can run the game.
